In the high, arid valleys of Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, hives sit far from any city, farmed the way mountain families always have.
02 — The Blooms
Wild flowers, never planted.
Alpine blossoms grow scattered across the barren slopes each summer, drawing bees in for the short window nature allows.
03 — The Bees
A living relationship with the mountain.
Local beekeepers tend the hives through the season, working alongside bees that forage the wildflowers rising between the rocks.
04 — The Harvest
Lifted by hand, frame by frame.
Each honeycomb frame is checked and drawn out at the hive itself, the same unhurried way it has always been done here.
05 — The Extraction
Spun gently, never heated.
The comb goes straight into a stainless steel centrifugal extractor, letting the honey flow free without any cooking or pressing.
06 — The Bottle
Strained, jarred, and ready to travel.
The raw honey is strained by hand through a stainless-steel mesh sieve, then sealed into glass, carrying Spiti Valley's short summer all the way to your table.
